Growing Need for Raman "Imaging"

　Nanophoton ran a booth at Pittcon 2009 for 4 days from March 9th through the 12th. We introduced our new product, the long-awaited RAMANplus.
　The number of total attendance at this year's Pittcon was lower than previous years due to the global financial crisis. However, we received a lot of visits from our new customers.
　Many visitors have become intrigued with the keywords "Raman" "Imaging" and "Ultra-fast". We felt that Nanophoton will be able to score a hit because there is a growing need for Raman imaging, which is the main specialization of Nanophoton. Pittcon was also a good opportunity to meet distributors from all over the world.

Enjoyable off-time in Chicago and California

　There are a lot of tourism features in Chicago. What impressed us most was a great view from Sears Tower. Luckily, the sky was sunny on the day and we could look over the Chicago town from there. We also fully enjoyed real Chicago Blues and deep-dish pizza. However, it had a dusting of snow on the last day and was very cold.
　After the close of Pittcon 2009, we traveled from Chicago to San Francisco on plane. Of course, the purpose was sales and marketing, we also enjoyed sightseeing trip in Silicon Valley using rental car. We visited the campus of Stanford University, Google, Inc., Apple Inc.. We had a very pleasurable time there.
